Premier Club in Asia-Definition Please
One of the catch phrases for the re-development is that it will create the premier international club in Asia.
I haven't seen any elaboration on what that actually means.
- premier infrastructure?
- premier service?
- premier cost?
- premier value?
Does anyone have a definition?
Will the re-development give the club a chance to significantly reduce the cost of labor?
Will the re-development reduce costs to members and make it competitive in the F&B area with outside competition?
Premier is kinda like nice...it needs a little elaboration.

Comment: Premier Club in Asia is a pompous and vain goal which really doesn't mean anything
Absolutely agree with that! It is a stupid goal, meaningless.
Member satisfaction will not be achieved by attaching such a tag. Delivering real value for money is the only key to that.
Despite the TellTAC feedback, the average member thinks the F&B prices are way too high and they are. The unfortunate fact is that apathy rules and those that hink that way can't be bothered to step forward.
Regarding the Premier Club in Asia goal, I would like those who have "invented" this goal to indicate clearly what the goal means in specific terms & then compare this against a number of clubs in Asia which are DEFINITELY known to be excellent.
I feel certain that the goal will then fall apart.
From what I can tell as a relatively newcomer to Japan, TAC has been very lucky because it does not have any other competition. The same cannot be said for cities like Bangkok, Singapore or Hong Kong, where there really are some premier clubs.
Let's have some realistic goals going forward but aiming to be the Premier Club in Asia has flaws in it right from the start.
